Read more about the different walks that we organize and where we meet each time. Please note, that you have to REGISTER for each walk, which you do in the boxes on our main site HERE

We organize walks where the common language is Danish and walks where the common language is English. Everyone is welcome to participate in both. Below you see the English walks. Find the Danish walks HERE

Weekend walks

All of our weekend walks will be around 1-1.5 hours. After the walk, we sit down and enjoy a tea or coffee together somewhere near (on a bench or in the nice green grass). If you want to join, then bring a thermal cup of tea, coffee or whatever you like to enjoy along with a chat.

Remember to be at the meeting spot on time – do you have problems finding the group, then call 31 33 58 36

Saturday 27th of November – Frederiksborg Castle and Castle gardens (free entrance) – 1 pm

The beautiful renaissance castle – Frederiksborg Castle – is built on three small islands in the Castle Lake, which creates an enchanting sight. The castle is surrounded by the Baroque garden with monograms, magnificent flowers and beautiful sculptures as well as the English-inspired landscape garden.

We walk together from Hillerød station by a beautiful path that leads us along the Castle Lake to the Castle, after which we go exploring in the sumptuous gardens.

If there is time and desire we can also visit the castle inside – it closes at 3pm.
Due to a given grant given to the Walking Club from the Cultural Ministry, Caritas will pay for the entrance.

Meeting place: We meet in front of the 7/11 store at Hillerød station (Søndre Jernbanevej 34, 3400 Hillerød).

At the meeting spot you will find one of our Caritas walking hosts wearing a red Caritas t-shirt, a Caritas balloon or a green Caritas badge on the jacket.

Do you have problems finding the group, then call 31 33 58 36 / or find us in our Facebook group beforehand HERE
