Network and social gatherings

Coming to and living in a foreign country as an au pair can sometimes be challenging and at times lonely. Caritas Denmark is therefore working on establishing network amongst au pairs and with other groups, as a way to find support and new social network.

Au pair meet, greet and eat

Join us for a meet, greet and eat event where you can meet other au pairs as well as getting information about social events and gatherings for au pairs, au pair rules and regulations, other support options such as sharing circles, counselling and health support.

Au pair sharing circle

Join our sharing circle where we will share our thoughts, experiences and difficulties with each other. The sharing circle is facilitated by Antonella, a volunteer therapist, who can also guide us in how to deal with difficult situations or conflicts happening in our host families, private life or other contexts.

Join other au pairs online on Caritas’ Facebook group for au pairs: Au pairs in Denmark – sharing experiences and creating network 

The intention of the group is to have a forum where we can share experiences, tips and tricks, events, knowledge etc. and create a space from where we can find and build friendships and relationships with other au pairs locally and virtually.
