Christmas Aid
The distribution will take place in the following cities, with the possibility of additional distribution cities being opened: The Christmas aid must be picked up physically in the city in which it is booked:

Please make sure to choose the correct city for picking up the Christmas aid.
There is a limited number of gift cards available in each city. Please do not apply if you are unable to pick up yourself – it is not possible to pick up on behalf of others.
Make sure to apply for the relevant city and the amount of gift certificates are limited pr. city.
When you apply, you will first be placed on a waiting list. All applications are then reviewed, and those that meet the criteria will by Caritas get an e-mail confirmation on Christmas aid by a first come, first serve principle. Not all applications will receive Christmas aid. If your waiting list status changes to receiving Christmas aid, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you apply for the waitinglist, we will try to handle all applications within 7 days.
When all gift cards have been distributed, you will keep your place on the waiting list in case additional opportunities for distribution arise. If that happens, you will be contacted by e-mail.
Caritas Denmark provides Christmas aid to families in financial need. The aid is available to all families who wish to receive support during the Christmas season and meet the following requirements:
To apply for Christmas aid, you must apply by choosing the box with the name of the city you wish to collect the Christmas aid in. The boxes are placed at the bottom of this page, and will shortly before December 1 link to application. At the moment the boxes links to expired 2025 application.

Declaration of truth: When collecting the Christmas aid in the booked city, you will be asked to sign a declaration of truth, confirming that the information provided is correct and that you meet the requirements to receive Christmas aid.
Your application for waiting list is only confirmed once you receive an e-mail confirmation. If you are then appointed Christmas aid, you will receive another confirmation e-mail including the exact location where you can collect your Christmas aid. The Christmas aid must be collected in person at the address stated in the confirmation.
