Standarder og certificering

Caritas Danmark er certificeret af organisationen Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI). Det betyder, at vi lever op til de internationalt anerkendte kvalitetskrav for udviklings- og nødhjælpsarbejde i Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS).

Vi lever derudover op til Caritas-konføderationens egne ledelsesstandarder, Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS).

CHS og CIMS er vigtige redskaber, som sikrer gennemsigtighed og professionalisme i vores arbejde, så vi yder den bedst mulige hjælp til verdens fattigste og mest udsatte.

I vores seneste CHS-certificering fra 2024 står der blandt andet:

• Caritas Danmark har været medvirkende til at fremme CHS-overholdelse blandt nationale og lokale Caritas-partnere og blandt partnere, der ikke er en del af Caritas.

• Caritas Danmark har sammen med sine partnere implementeret flere politikker for at forhindre seksuel udnyttelse og overgreb, herunder beskyttelsespolitikker, adfærdskodekser, klagemekanismer og HR-politikker.

Standards and certification

Caritas Denmark is certified by the organization Humanitarian Quality Assurance Initiative (HQAI). This means that we meet the internationally recognized quality requirements for development and relief work, the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS).

We also comply with the Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CIMS).

CHS and CIMS are important tools that ensure transparency and professionalism in our work, so that we provide the best possible support to the world’s poorest and most vulnerable.

Our latest CHS Certification from 2024 states, among other things:

• Caritas Denmark has proven to be instrumental in promoting CHS compliance among national and local Caritas and with non-Caritas partners.

• Caritas Denmark and its partners have multiple policies in place to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), such as safeguarding policies, codes of conduct, complaints-handling and HR policies.
